Ingredients
1 lb Rastelli’s (85/15) Ground Beef
1 small White Onion, diced
1 small Green Bell Pepper, diced
3 cloves Garlic, minced
Salt + Pepper
1 cup Ketchup
1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tsp packed Light Brown Sugar
12 Potato Slider Buns
1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
Directions
Cook the beef in a large skillet over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through, 5 to 7 minutes.
Carefully drain excess fat from the pan. Add the onion, bell pepper and garlic and cook until fragrant and the veggies soften, about 3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
Stir in the ketchup, vinegar, Worcestershire, and brown sugar. Reduce the heat to low and simmer until the veggies are tender and the mixture has thickened, 15 to 20 minutes. Add salt and pepper to taste.
Preheat the broiler. Place the buns cut side up on a baking sheet and sprinkle both sides with the cheese. Broil until the cheese is bubbly and melted, 1 to 2 minutes. Spoon the sloppy joe mixture on the bottom halves of the buns, close the sandwiches and enjoy immediately.
